I am Christina Richardson, PhD, the human.in this partnership. For more than thirty years I spent more than three out of every four weeks traveling as the owner of an association management consulting firm. After my head injury in 2003, I decided to spend more time in Alexandria and work locally. I am Daisy Mae Delray. In addition to my human companions, I live with another Sheltie named Mikey, a twelve year old Pomeranian named Tomi and a sixteen year old cat named Basta. I go to work everyday with Christina, both as her seizure alert dog and her partner. I am especially helpful when she is working with a grief counseling client. I also help teach humans how to do Reiki on their own animals.
About a year ago I became the Rovering Reporter for the Del Ray Sun Newspaper and my columns, Puppy Dog Tales, were about local pets and the bond between humans and their animal companions.
